An increase of half a pound from last year’s stats. As a result, beef consumption has increased the first time in ten years, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Most of all, eating red meat may be enjoyable but so is sky diving.

Therefore, the Paleo claims red meat may have a less cut-and-dry effect on health than previously thought. Most of all, avoid processed meats, like hot dogs, ham and salami, altogether. While the average consumption of red meat still falls under the 18-ounce guideline we still need to be careful. Be aware of saturated fat and your cholesterol levels while consuming beef.
